Girls’ night out at Nieuwe Anita’s

A friend from Norway was suddenly doing a concert in Amsterdam, so naturally we had to check it out. Kevin was not feeling all that great, but luckily Cathrine and Virag joined in. The concert involved two two-person bands, one from Norway (Silje Nes) and one from Holland, and the atmosphere was wonderful. De Nieuwe Anita was a tiny bar, wrapped in a gloomy but sweet feeling, with a combined stage/counter, really old furniture, and a haircutter in the back of the room in case you felt like cutting your hair after a couple of drinks.
