Silje and Erik in Amsterdam

Last weekend Silje and Erik came to visit us, and we had a great time (at least I did..). We biked a lot, two on each bike, did some shopping and mainly just “moved around” in Amsterdam.

This is Begijnhof, a great peaceful spot in the middle of the city (the entrance is about 20 yards from Kalverstraat, the busiest shopping street in A’dam), it used to be the home of nuns, now there’s only women living here and visiting men have to leave before 11 pm.
We found this cat while searching for Noordermarkt, and it looked really satisfied and “Amsterdam-like”
This dog seemed to own one of the cafès we visited.
Of course we had to have some coconut drinks.
And this is Silje and Erik riding the bike, they got quite good at it eventually (practice makes perfect 
)
